New Greenhouse

If you ask a new farmer or homesteader what they wished they knew before they got started, I bet one of the things you'll hear is come up with a plan, so you don't end up having to redo everything.   What they don't talk about is the time and energy you spend coming up with plans and then changing them before they're ever executed.  

So here we are, with this beautiful new greenhouse going up - It is plan C.. or D depending on how you count, but it is going to be fabulous.   Plan A. was to use the greenhouse we build last year (9x12') for a few years, but we outgrew that quickly.  Plan B was to build a new passive solar greenhouse, but that fell through for a number of reasons.   Plan C was to add lights and use every inch of space in Greenhouse #1..    and Finally, Plan D, build a new 12x30 Greenhouse/ High tunnel in a completely different spot and grow into it!   I guess it is still better to over plan than to under plan.. So, if you read my last post, ignore the part about my plans for this year, because, while they would have been great, they've changed.
